The judge’s order came a week after he ruled that the aion gold city had intentionally discriminated against black applicants by continuing to use an entrance exam that it had been told put them at a disadvantage.
Last week’s decision, which was made in favor of the Vulcan Society, a fraternal organization of black firefighters, was believed to be the first aion kinah time the court had found that the city had intentionally discriminated against a large class of people. In pointed language, Judge Garaufis said the city looked the other way in regard to the discrimination and that it had “uniquely disabling effects.”
Thursday’s ruling also applied to Hispanic aion kina applicants in connection with claims brought by the Department of Justice.
Georgia Pestana, the chief of the labor and employment law division of the city’s Law Department, said in a statement on aion power leveling Thursday that “an initial examination suggests that today’s opinion does not fully address the complex constitutional issues presented — nor does it give proper weight to developments in this area of law.”
